Take a copy of everything held about you
- Where it happens
- On this page, below.
- What the platform can do
- It builds the file out of this page, and writes down that a copy left.
Data and privacy
Nothing here was chosen for you: every person's page lists the same kinds of thing, in the same order. What the platform holds of each one is worked out from your own record when the page is shown.
Every act this page can be about, whether or not this workspace can perform it. Where it cannot, the row says so and says what the platform itself could do.
Each of these can be done from this workspace. Where it happens is on the act.
You can open what you have written, what has reached your record, and what the platform has worked out from it — each on the page named in its row above. Things done to your record are listed in its own row above.
There is nowhere in this workspace to open who you are on this record, how it is filed, answers your record holds about what is allowed, or who else can see it. This page is the only place the platform tells you they are held at all.
You can add to it in your own words, on the pages where your record already is.
Take a copy of everything held about you
Everything this page has worked out from your record can leave with you as a file, and this deployment publishes somewhere to ask for one.
Taking a copy is written down. One line goes into the platform's record of what has been done to your record — that a copy was taken and when — and it holds nothing about what is in the file. It is the only place anybody, you included, can later ask whether a copy of this record ever left.
A copy holds these parts of this page: these two sentences about the copy itself, which kinds of thing are held about you, where they came from, what you have been asked and what you answered, what you can do here, what this page says it is not saying, — where this deployment holds composed data — what the record behind it is, said once at the top and marked again at the head of every row about you, — where the platform could not read your record to the end — how far it looked, and — where the platform holds a request no row on this page names — what it says about that request. It also holds the things themselves: what you have said about yourself, what has reached your record, what the platform works out from your record now, what you have asked for, and — where it could not read all of your record — that what you are holding may not be all of it.
What it holds of your record is what stands there now, and what once stood there marked as having been replaced or withdrawn — never the second as though it were the first. It does not hold the acts this page lists in the row for what has been done to your record, and it holds nothing the platform uses to address rows: no identifiers, no addresses and no keys.
None of these can be done from this workspace. They are listed rather than left out, and what the platform itself can do is on each one.
You cannot yet correct or remove anything already on it. Nothing here is ever edited or deleted: a correction is new evidence that names what it replaces, and the platform can record one — but there is no page anywhere in this workspace from which you can start one, so today what you have written stands as you wrote it.
You cannot yet take back a permission from here. The platform can record a withdrawal and there is no way to reach that from a page, so this page does not pretend otherwise; if there were, taking one back would stop the processing that rested on it and, where the permission covered a disclosure, withdraw the disclosure too.
You cannot yet ask for everything to be erased. What that would have to produce is evidence that it happened — what was removed, from each place it was held — rather than a note saying the request was queued, and the part of the platform that can produce that evidence has not been built.
Every kind of thing this platform can hold about a person is listed here, whether or not it holds any of it about you.
The account that makes this record yours, and the name this platform files it under, which is not your name.
There is no page in this workspace that shows this on its own.
Any stage of life your record is filed under, whose space it sits in, and what you are allowed to do here. None of it is anything you wrote.
There is no page in this workspace that shows this on its own.
Sentences you typed, kept exactly as you wrote them, with the day you wrote each one.
Everything that has been put on your record — by you, or by somebody else — and what has been checked about each one.
Claims the platform has derived from what is on your record, and the working behind each one.
Every question this platform has put to you about what it may do, and whatever you answered to each.
There is no page in this workspace that shows this on its own.
Anybody recorded as responsible for you, and anybody given authority over your record — what that authority covers, and when it ends.
There is no page in this workspace that shows this on its own.
A line for every act this platform recorded against your record: what was done, when, who did it, and what it was done for. It is the platform's own account of its acts, and it includes any time somebody other than you was shown something.
Each line below is one act this platform recorded against your record, in this platform's short name for it, in the order the acts happened and newest first. When it happened is given with it: the day, and the clock time it happened at. Where every act below shares one of those, it is stated once above the list rather than repeated on each line; where an act differs, it is on that act's own line. What each of those names means is set out under the list, once for each kind of act. Who did it and what it was done for are on that record too, and are not shown here.
This is the same for every act below, so it is stated here once rather than repeated on each line. Nothing is left out: an act that differs carries its own answer beside it.

These are this platform's registered words for each kind of act above, one entry for each kind. They are about what the act IS and not about your record: two people whose records hold the same kinds of act read the same entries here.
Every source this platform recognises, and whether anything on your record arrived from it.
This has not been built yet.
It does not show you the things on your record. What is on this page is which kinds of thing your record holds and where they came from. The things of every kind but one are elsewhere in this product, and this page never stands in for them: a row names a page where its kind can be read, and does not promise that one page holds all of that kind. The one exception is the platform's own record of what has been done to yours, which is listed in its row above because there is nowhere else in this workspace to read it.
It does not say how much of anything you have. There is no quantity anywhere on this page, in either direction. A total of somebody’s things is a measure of them, and the answer to “what do you hold about me” does not require one.
It does not tell you who looked at your record.Where somebody other than you was shown something, the act is registered and is listed in its row above — but that row says what was done and when, and never who did it. And an empty list is not evidence that nobody looked: an act reaches that record only where this platform records one, and a person opening a page is recorded nowhere, including here.
It changes nothing by being read.Nothing on this page removes, hides or alters anything on your record, and nothing that merely fetches this page — a link preview, a crawler, a browser reading ahead — can reach the one act it offers, because that act is a form you submit rather than an address to follow. Pressing it does write one line, in the platform's record of what has been done to your record: that a copy was taken, and when.
This page is worked out from your record each time it is shown, and holds nothing of its own. The same record gives the same page on any day, and looking at it is not recorded as anything.
